DeKalb Physicians Clinic is once again stepping forward to do something for the community as they are hosting their 6th year of giving back to a local citizen fight breast cancer during Brest Cancer Awareness Month.
Dr. Kyle Groom and Leann Groom, along with all of the rest of the staff at the clinic are taking the effort to the next level this year. Not only will they be selling their breast cancer awareness t-shirts like past years, they have added a raffle and a garage sale to their efforts to raising the amount of this year’s donation.
The raffle is for a Turtlebox speaker. Turtlebox has a varied line of their versatile, waterproof Bluetooth speakers made for use outdoors.
The clinic will also host a garage sale on October 3, during DeKalb Oktoberfest.
Kim Crumpton told the West Bowie Post that she hopes to have the t-shirts available for purchase on September 28.
Raffle tickets for the Turtlebox are available for purchase now at the clinic located on Centre Street. Tickets are just $2. The winning ticket will be drawn during Oktoberfest. You do not have to be present at the drawing to win.
All proceeds from the three fundraisers will go to a local patient fighting cancer.
To buy raffle tickets or a t-shirt, go to DeKalb Physicians Clinic located at 216 North Centre Street in DeKalb.
