The 2026 Glow Walk had downtown New Boston all aglow this past Saturday. In only the third year of showcasing, supporting and celebrating community members facing their own personal battles with cancer, the annual Glow Walk raised an impressive $22,489.31.
Stephanie Hawkins, Event Coordinator, expressed her feelings when speaking about this year’s event, “Glow Walk 2026 was more than I could have ever imagined. To stand there and look around at our survivors, families, teams, vendors, volunteers and an entire community coming together for one purpose was beautiful.
I’ve spent months preparing for that day, but nothing could have prepared me for seeing it all come to life.
There were moments when I was so busy I didn’t even get to take it all in, but looking back, I’m incredibly proud of what our community accomplished together.
Glow Walk has never been about one person or one night—it’s about making sure every person fighting, every survivor and every family who has lost someone knows that their story matters and they are not alone. Our community showed up, and they showed up big.
For that I am so thankful.”
