Bowie County residents who wish to vote in the November 3 General Election must be registered by Monday, October 5, 2026.
The Bowie County Elections Office encourages all eligible Texans to register or verify their registration status now to ensure they are prepared to cast a ballot.
Texas law requires voters to be registered 30 days before Election Day.
“Every eligible Texan deserves the opportunity to make their voice heard,” said Pat McCoy, Election Administrator of the Bowie County Elections Office. “We encourage residents to take a few minutes today to confirm their registration is current and accurate before the deadline passes.”
Texans can check their registration status on the My Voter Portal, which can be accessed through VoteTexas.gov.
Texans who have recently changed their name or moved can update their voter registration online through Texas.gov.
