Volunteers and riders had a good day Saturday on the Avery section of the Northeast Texas Trail as a temporary detour sign was installed near Kickapoo Creek and cyclists from as far away as Plano enjoyed a beautiful gravel grind on the trail. Then, all gathered at the Avery VFD station to enjoy their annual fish fry fundraiser.
