ELIZABETH DIANE DENNY

Elizabeth Diane Denny, 41, passed away on September 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, family, and a deeply rooted faith. Above all else, Elizabeth was a devoted mother, partner, daughter, sister, a proud “crazy cat lady,” and— most importantly—a cherished child of God. She lived her life holding fast to a verse she loved and often shared with those around her: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

Elizabeth’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her three children, to whom she gave her whole heart: Justin Levi Benton (21) of Nashville, Tennessee; Zeta Elise Ray (17) of DeKalb, Texas, Christian Elijah Ray (16) of DeKalb, Texas.

She is survived by her loving boyfriend, Derric Mahoney (50), with whom she shared her home and life in Largo, Florida.

Elizabeth is also remembered with love by her mother, Susan Wright; her sister, Kimberly Wilson; her father, Richard Wilson, and stepmother, Laura Wilson.

Her home was always filled with light, laughter, and the gentle company of her beloved cats, Noon Day Sun and Peanut.

Services to celebrate Elizabeth’s life was held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home New Boston, Texas.

Her warmth, guidance, and unwavering faith will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
