BILLY REX ‘UNK’ MILLS
Billy Rex ‘Unk’ Mills, age 92 of New Boston, Texas passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026 in a local nursing facility. Mr. Mills was born August 22, 1934 in Douglassville, Texas to Robert Lee and Alice Louise Mills. He was a United States Army Veteran, attended the First Baptist Church, Maud and was a Materials Handler Factory Worker. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bobby Mills and 4 sisters, Peggy Chapman, Lynda Griffin, Barbara Mills and Patsy Watkins.
Left to cherish his memory is a brother, Eddie Mills, 2 sisters, Geniece Dirskell and Judy Turner, numerous nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2026 in Salem Cemetery, Bloomburg, Texas with Bro. Clayton Sheets and Bro. Terry Simpson officiating. Interment is under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home. New Boston, Texas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
