Karen was born on May 6, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to Jimmy Hefley and Betty Doeble Hefley. She worked as a sales associate at Walmart. Karen had a special love for cats, which brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, James Michael Ragsdale; her parents, Jimmy and Betty Hefley; and her brother, Michael Hefley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Danae Finch of San Antonio, Texas; her sister-in-law, Michelle Hefley of De Kalb, Texas; and her three grandchildren, Catalina Finch, Brian Lucas Finch, and Jimmy Finch, along with many friends and relatives who will miss her dearly.

Karen will be remembered by her family and loved ones for the wonderful memories they shared and the special place she held in their hearts. Her memory will live on through those who knew and loved her.

Cremation is under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
